Iris Sanchez is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who also holds a board certification in Advanced Diabetes Management, and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Ms. Sanchez received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. She then pursued a Doctor Of Nursing Practice at the Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing in Houston, Texas.
Ms. Sanchez has experience in both managing and providing diabetes education to patients and their families and in population health management and quality outcomes. She is an active member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, Texas Nurse Practitioner’s Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
